Meet the Owls and Flying Demo 11.30 and 1.30
At 11.30 and 1.30 each day, you can come along and meet the Owls.
Our flying demonstrations will follow .
Our lovely weather can sometimes hinder our flying demos. We may adapt our displays to suit.

Tuition
Tuition sessions are the more in depth experience. You will be learning the husbandry and care of Raptors. These sessions are for people who are more interested, or wishing to take up Falconry.
They will include
A brief history of Falconry in Orkney & the rest of the world.
The difference between Hawks, Falcons and Eagles.
The principles of Falconry including how to tie the Falconer's knot, and how to man a bird in preparation for flying a Harris Hawk from person to person .
The sessions will take up to 4 hours . Dress for Orkney weather!
Tuition prices are £55.00 per adult and £45.00 for children 8 - 15 years. Maximum of 4 people per session.
